This record is from the Australia, Miscellaneous Genealogical Records, 1776-1980 found on FamilySearch.org. The record above is from a handwritten or typed on index cards. The cards are filed in alphabetical order by surname. Some index cards are transcripts of newspaper reports of births, marriages and deaths; some are transcripts of various vital records, and so on. The emphasis appears to be New South Wales, with some records from Victoria. Some cards show LDS ordinance work (TIBs) and extracts of LDS membership records. Other cards list information regarding various LDS families, and the emphasis appears to be South Australia.
It is so great that people all over the world are transcribing records and feel the importance of it. This collection is not indexed yet, but I just wanted to make you aware of it. Sometimes it is hard to find an actual vital certificate, so this is a great substitute.
